Viewport border not shown in paper space.

I am working with AutoCAD 2009 with Carlson Survey software addon.

When working in paper space with one viewport (on defpoints layer) the viewport border is visible. I can use grips to adjust the viewport size or move the viewport while in PS.

After several times of switching to the model space tab and back to my paper space layout tab the viewport border is not visible.

I can still switch to model space by clicking inside the viewport, but am not able to select the vp border to stretch or move it.

Defpoints layer is on and VP freeze is set to on.
