Steel barn manufacturers are plentiful across the United States and Canada. Many steel building manufactures also staff their own CAD department to help

you get the barn facility to meet your needs.

Most barn builders will provide the design and materials for your structure.

Many barns are also available in barn kits. Some manufacturers provide kits and some don’t. The kits are usually fairly easy to assemble and do not require heavy duty construction equipment.

Most can be assembled using basic construction equipment.

You will also need a contractor to help you with the concrete foundation work; unless the barn manufacturer provides this service as well.

The manufacturer should be able to provide you with a concrete building footprint plan if you need to hire a contractor or plan on constructing the foundation yourself.

Here are a few things to keep in mind when discussing your steel barn purchase with the manufacture:

Since shipping pricing may vary depending on the steel barn manufacturer’s location, it’s best to find out up front what the fees are. This could drastically affect your quote.
Some may also be able to deliver faster than others, so be sure to check on delivery time.
Does your town or city have any special requirements with respect to building codes or zoning bylaws?
Try to use a company that manufactures its building pieces at the same factory. You don’t want to run into problems during assembly when some of the parts do not fit together properly.
