Inserting PDF Files Into drawings

I am trying to insert a PDF file onto a drawing.

I have a very detailed submittable I want to insert into one of my drawings, the vendor will not send it as an AutoCAd file. I am trying to save some drawing time.

Which version of AutoCAD?
by: James

Type PDFATTACH at the command prompt to attach a PDF file to your drawing.

The ability to insert PDF files into AutoCAD drawings is limited to the later versions of AutoCAD. I believe AutoCAD 2010 (could be 2011) or later.

If you are using an earlier version of AutoCAD, you should try to convert the PDF file to a JPG in order to attach.
