Importing pc3 plot styles created in 2008 into 2012.

by Glen
(Denver)

I have upgraded to Auto Cad 2012 from 2008 and the plot styles that were working in 2008 are listed as missing in 2012. How do I import pc3 files?

Plotter Manager
by: Anonymous

In AutoCAD 2012, go to the "File" drop down menu and choose "Plotter Manager". All your pc3 files will be listed in there. If the missing pc3 file is not listed, you need to go to your old AutoCAD 2008 sub-directory and find that file, then copy it into the 2012 sub-directory. Then restart AutoCAD 2012 and it should be there.

Plot styles
by: Andrea

I have a similar problem, the plot styles are all listed in the ps manager, but when i started a new drawing from scratch in 2012 the custom plot styles don't show, not even the monochrome which is standard...

i tried creating a new plot style in an existing drawing and went back to my new drawing and it didn't show either! what is wrong with it?

please help!
