Heidi Driver Problem in AutoCAD MEP

by John Reinhard
(Netherlands)

When I start my AutoCAD MEP 2011 I'm always on, I get the error that in my computer the Heidi Driver is not loaded.

How can I load the Heidi driver?

My video card is ATI Fire GL V 5600.

I have many times send the error to Autodesk, but I never get an answer.

Maybe can you help me to get it work ??

AutoCAD Driver Troubleshooting
by: Joseph

If you are on the "Subscription" program with Autodesk, I would contact them and have them troubleshoot the Heidi driver problem with you.

Otherwise, the Heidi driver problem in AutoCAD could be caused by a number of reasons.

You could try any one (or all) of these and see if they work for you:

1. Try turning off your screen-saver.

2. See if there is a more recent video card driver that you can upgrade to.

3. Contact your video driver manufacturer and make sure your driver is compatible with AutoCAD MEP 2011.

4. Make sure all the latest service packs are installed.

5. Try turning off hardware acceleration, reboot AutoCAD MEP, then restart hardware acceleration.

6. Other software conflicts.

Again, I think getting technical support from Autodesk what be the best option to help identify the problem.
