Before you head over to Autodesk or eBay, why not check out the many free AutoCAD blocks resources available on the web.  We think you will be pleasantly surprised to find out how many free CAD blocks are to be had.

For your convenience, you will find below several free CAD symbols that we have used in our own projects over the years.

We have also included a list of resources to other good sites that offer free architectural, mechanical, structural and landscape block symbols.

We will be updating this page often, with ACAD blocks and blueprint symbols that denote frequently used architect blocks such as doors, windows, toilets, sinks, furniture, plants, stairs, and much more.

What we have added below are random blocks selected from various projects.

Simply download these free AutoCAD blocks to your hard drive and use the Winzip utility to extract the file.

All files have been saved in AutoCAD 2004 format.
