Find & Replace problem

I'm using 2008.
Find & Replace puts an ; at the beginning of text it replace it also changes the justification.
Is there a way to stop this?
Example:
Find TTNIA... Replace with DTNIA.
The results will be
;DTNIA and in may cases the justification is changed.
