AutoCAD to PDF"Convert CAD to PDF... Fast and Free!" There are many times when I've needed to send a crisp, clear AutoCAD drawing to someone.. who doesn't have the AutoCAD program. Many clients without AutoCAD, prefer to receive a simple file by e-mail that can be printed, looked over and marked-up if needed. Asking them to install drawing readers is something I'd rather not do, because, if I was in their position, I would not want my time taken up with downloading and installing software either. While there are literally tons of free software available to convert drawings to pdf on the net (and to be honest, I haven't tried them all), the one I use is easy and spam free and is called CutePDF. Install the CutePDF writer and the PS2PDF converter, print the CAD drawing to a file and e-mail the pdf to the client. Boom! Quick and easy, just the way we both like it.
