The best place to find an AutoCAD reader, for those without the Auto CAD program software package, is the official Autodesk site.

Why visit other sites that charge you $100's of dollars or more for their version of an Auto CAD viewer?  There is no need.

We have several clients that do not own, nor need to own, the AutoCAD program.

It is always our recommendation to all our clients to use the drawing viewer that is available on Autodesk's website.

Not only is this software 100% compatible with AutoCAD files, it is also free to download and use.

The name of the Autodesk software is called DWG TrueView™.

This drawing file viewer gives you the ability to read and print DWG and DXF files and also publish them as DWF files later, if you wish.

And for those of you who also need to convert drawings, forwards and backwards between software releases, this AutoCAD viewer also allows for full drawing translation by saving in your required version.
