AutoCAD and LT Layer Manager Compatibility

I use AutoCAD LT 2011 and am working on files from an office that has full AutoCAD. There are several XREF's to my main drawing. I set up my sheets in my AutoCAD LT and froze/thawed layers as needed for each of my sheets.

These layers were from both my main drawing and the XREF's. When I moved the drawings to the office and opened it in the full AutoCAD, I lost all of my freeze/thaw settings.

I did not have layer states saved for each sheet so I went back to my original drawing in LT and saved layer states for each sheet and reopened the drawing in full AutoCAD and I tried to reset the layer states and it did not work.

Is there a compatibility issue that does not allow LT layer states or layer setups to be read or transferred to straight AutoCAD?
