Auto CAD Blocks

As most of you who landed on this page know,

auto cad blocks are basically entities that are assembled to form one useable entity; or a “block”.

Benefits of Using Blocks

Q: Why is the concept of using blocks in drawings that require the same collection of objects that are to be used on a multiple basis ideal to a cad drafter?

A: Basically because of the time savings involved with not having to redraw or copy individual entities.

Blocks can also be easily managed and organized in the same drawing file, as well as, outside of the drawing as "wblocks".

Block Libraries

Organizing a block library is a great way to make use of all the blocks you have created in individual drawings.

As you compile your library of drafting symbols you will be surprised just how much time you are saving by inserting them individually into any drawing that you are working on.
